LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. – Cutler Funeral Home in La Porte is updating its normal operations during the COVID-19 outbreak. Services are now only open to immediate family members rather than public gatherings.
Cutler says they are recording services for friends and families that can’t attend.
“It’s just a little bit different than what we’re used to, but we’re mandated to follow certain health procedures and that really is our first calling as funeral professionals is we have to have the well being and the care of the health of the community above everything else,” said Dale Knouse, owner of Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center
Families also have the option of live-streaming the service for an extra-fee.
