Culver Community Schools hosts Dream Day, helping students prepare for college
CULVER, Ind. -- It's College Go Week and Culver Community Schools is hosting Dream Day, a career fair event.
This is the fourth year for Dream Day, and it's grown to quite the experience for students, featuring colleges, armed forces, CTE programs, and different career industries.
Students will be given conversation starter packets to help break the ice and get the most out of their interactions.
Culver Community Schools Career Coach Brandy Zehner says it's never too early for students to explore what they want to do as a career and hopes this day builds a strong foundation for success in the future.
"There are so many different ways for them to gain an education and be the best that they can be in their field of work. College no longer means just a four-year school. It's going to be very important for their success and future careers to be able to market themselves with an education in whatever field they choose to go to," Zehner said.
