Samantha Elhassani has been charged with conspiracy to provide material support to ISIS as well as aiding and abetting two individuals in providing material support to ISIS.
The judge approved Elhassani's request to seek the depositions from the witnesses.
Her attorney says the depositions will help in her defense.
Her trial is scheduled to begin in January.
