Couple arrested, found with three pounds of weed, 75 THC vape cartridges, and handgun

STEUBEN COUNTY, Ind. -- Sgt. Ted Bohner with the Indiana State Police Bremen Post reported a traffic stop was made for an equipment violation on a 2012 red Chevy near mile-marker 348 on I-69 around 12:58 a.m. Monday.

The report states troopers discovered three pounds of suspected marijuana, 75 THC vape cartridges, and a handgun.

The driver, identified as 24-year-old Hunter Holub of Portland, Tenn., was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and a firearm charge.

The passenger, identified as 23-year-old Heaven Acevedo of Bourbonnais, Ill., was arrested for Possession of Marijuana.

Both were taken to the Steuben County Jail.
