Coroner identifies man who died in house fire on Leer Street

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The coroner's office has identified the man who died following a house fire on Leer Street on Thursday.
The victim has been identified as 58-year-old Gerald Lindstrom Jr.
A fire broke out at Lindstrom's home around 1 p.m. Thursday.
Lindstrom suffered injuries in the fire and was transported to the hospital.
He was pronounced deceased later in the day.
The investigation into the fire is ongoing.
