The rain kept afternoon temperatures about 20 degrees cooler Friday afternoon compared to where they were Thursday. Save a few sprinkles early this evening, Michiana should dry out and clear out tonight with temperatures falling into the upper 60s by Saturday morning.
Saturday will be sunny with highs in the middle 80s. While it will still be a bit humid, it will feel more comfortable outside. A round of showers and thunderstorms moves into Michiana late Saturday night into Sunday morning. While an isolated thunderstorm can't be ruled out later on Sunday, most of the area should be dry again by Sunday afternoon. Temperatures on Sunday and Monday will be near 80 degrees. Monday and Tuesday will be mostly to partly sunny before our next chance of rain on Wednesday. The heat looks to return for the second half of next week.
Tonight: Partly to mostly clear. Low 67.
Saturday: Mostly sunny. High 85.
Sunday: Rain showers likely early, with isolated storms possible in the afternoon. High 80.
Monday: Mostly sunny. High 81.
