A cold front that moved through overnight brought much needed rain/thunderstorms and will help to cool off our high temperatures for today into the upper 70’s. Some ponding on roadways can be expected this morning. Clouds will linger throughout the morning but will be moving out by the early afternoon, allowing for some sunshine later in the day. Skies will remain clear tonight with lows dropping into the 50’s. Effects of the cold front will be felt tomorrow as well with highs topping out in the mid-70’s. A sunny and mild day is ahead to kick off the work week before a gradual increase in temperatures throughout the week with highs into the 90’s returning by Thursday. Plenty of sunshine can be expected this week before another cold front brings a chance for rain and storms on Friday.
