Fall-like conditions continue tonight, as temperatures fall through the 60s and 50s this evening before bottoming out in the 40s to start Thursday! Waves should start to relax on Lake Michigan later tonight as well. More pleasant conditions will come our way on Thursday and Friday, with highs on either side of 80 degrees. We still have high confidence in the heat returning for Labor Day weekend. Temperatures will likely fall just shy of 90 on Saturday but should eclipse that mark on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of next week. The humidity will increase as well, but heat index values should not be too much warmer than actual air temperatures.
