ELKHART, Ind -- Concord high school student had a run-in with his teacher, Andre Cowells, where he attempted to touch his leg and back in the bathroom.
The student who chose not to be identified, is glad that the teacher is being charged for his alleged actions.
"He was one of my favorite teachers. We had random banters in the hallway, just fun stuff. So, I mean I’m pretty disappointed that it happened. I mean. At the same time, I’m glad it got out though, because it needs to be dealt with." said the student.
Andrew Cowells taught at Concord high school for 20 years, and was well acquainted with the students, as their social studies teacher.
He was even considered to be a favorite teacher to some of the students over the years.
