Concord officially releases statement on teacher arrested for OWI in school parking lot

ELKHART, Ind. -- Concord Community School Officials have officially released a statement after Concord High School math teacher Anna Kridler was arrested earlier this month on charges of Operating a Vehicle while Intoxicated in the Concord Junior High parking lot on May 14.

Concord Officials saying in a statement:

"Concord Community Schools is aware that one of its employees was arrested on the evening of Wednesday, May 14, and booked into the Elkhart County Jail on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated endangering a person. The case has been referred to the county prosecutor’s office.

In accordance with district policy and standard procedure, the employee was immediately placed on administrative leave.

Concord Community Schools takes these matters seriously and are committed to ensuring a safe and supportive environment for our students, staff, and community. Because this is a personnel matter and a legal investigation, please refer questions to the Elkhart County Prosecutor's Office."
