ELKHART, Ind. -- Concord High School's Athletic Director has announced his plan to retire at the end of the 2025-26 school year.

Dave Preheim, Athletic Director at Concord High School, has been working with Concord Community Schools for three decades.

A 1989 graduate of Concord High School himself, Preheim worked as a social studies teacher at Concord Junior High starting in 1994, spent seven years as the junior high athletic director, and transitioned to being the high school's athletic director in 2004.

The district has begun the process of selecting a new athletic director to replace Preheim, with the position placed online at the Concord Community Schools website. Its goal is to have a new director by July 1.
