Concessions will be available at South Bend International Airport after South Bend Chocolate Company lease is up, airport confirms

ABC 57

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- There will still be food options available at the South Bend International Airport on June 1.

Airport officials confirm to ABC57 that Sky Dine, the airport's new concessionaire, will offer food, beverage, and retail space as the airport transitions into its updated dining options. This will come after the South Bend Chocolate Company lease as sole concessionaire expires.

Further details on these transitional options are not yet available.

Initial renderings for the for the final SBIA plan from Sky Dine include Dunkin' Donuts, Jimmy John's, and the locally-based The Lauber.

The SBCC is suing the airport for what it calls a lack of transparency over the concessionaire bidding process. An injunction to prevent its lease from expiring was rejected.
