ELKHART, Ind. -- The Minority Health Coalition of Elkhart County is helping new and expecting moms across Michiana.
'Shower your Baby with Love' is a community-style baby shower open to any expecting mother, or mothers who children are aged 0-2.
Saturday morning from 11am-2pm, you can stop by Pierre Moran Middle School in Elkhart to pick up items like baby wipes, diapers, bottles, etc.
A raffle will be held for big ticket items like strollers, cribs and mattresses.
In order to receive your items, you must first stop at different vendor booths to learn more about important topics like infant mortality and dangers of tobacco use and second-hand smoking.
You'll also have the chance to connect with local healthcare providers, should you need to get access to immunizations, check-ups, etc.
The Minority Health Coalition of Elkhart County, along with its community partners hope to help around 150 families with this event.
For more information, visit the coalition's Facebook page.
