City of Goshen set to host International Women’s Day Luncheon
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Notre Dame Women's Basketball took the court this afternoon to take on fellow top 25 ranked Louisville, but the real party came before the game even began, as College Gameday came to town for the showdown!
Fans from all over gathered to cheer on the Irish as they inch closer and closer to the all-important NCAA Tournament in a few weeks.
As for today's game, Irish fans were confident that a victory was in the cards.
"I'm an ND fan. It's really cool that it's coming to Indiana. Notre Dame's we're gonna win, obviously, Louisville, hopefully they put on a fight, but we all know Notre Dame's gonna win," stated Fan Miles Bradford.
And that confidence paid off, with the Irish earning a big-time victory over Louisville 72-59.
Hannah Hidalgo led the way with 20 points and nine rebounds, while Olivia Miles added 15 points of her own.
With the win, the Irish have claimed a share of the ACC regular season title, and now await their opponent in the ACC Tournament.
