Storms start this afternoon
Cold, windy and snowy through tonight, the main concern will be slick roads as temperatures fall into the teens by Tuesday morning. Additional snowfall of one to three inches is likely in Northern Indiana, and more than three inches possible in Southwest Michigan through Tuesday morning. The wind chill will feel near zero, Tuesday morning. There's a break from the snow Tuesday afternoon but temperatures remain below freezing. There's another chance of snow early Wednesday before a warm-up into the 40s. The snow will melt and spring-like temperatures return Friday, highs near 60 degrees.
Tonight: Lake effect snow, frigid. Low 16.
St. Patrick's Day: AM lake effect snow, blustery, bitterly cold. High 24.
Wednesday: AM light snow, frigid morning, clearing in afternoon. High 40.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy. High 52.
