Freezing and foggy start to the day, but 70s are on their way
Be prepared for a cold morning. Wind chills could dip all the way into the lower teens this morning.
It is breezy, and lake effect snow showers likely continue in our Michigan counties and northern portions of our Indiana counties.
Roads could be slick, even if they aren't coated in a lot of snow, so give yourself lots of extra drive time.
Some lake effect snow could linger into the overnight hours.
Snow is a bit more likely across Michiana Saturday afternoon.
The cold sticks around, with below freezing temperatures throughout the weekend.
Sunday the clouds start to break a little, and it should be a snow-free day.
Monday and Tuesday will be much nicer days with sunshine and highs jumping into the lower 40s.
A system looks to move through later in the day Thanksgiving, but with temperatures above freezing, we might only see rain showers or a rain/snow mix that continues into Black Friday.
Today: Lake Effect Snow. Cold, breezy. High 28.
Tonight: Lake Effect Snow. Low 16.
Saturday: Cold, breezy. Scattered snow showers. High 28.
