South Bend Community Police Review Board met Thursday night
Overcast skies and chilly highs in the mid 30s make for a gray and blustery Thursday across Michiana. Conditions stay quiet through the daytime today but begin to deteriorate quickly tonight as a clipper system brings in widespread snow through the area. Tonight's commute likely won't be impacted by the winter weather, but tomorrow morning's is a different story. Around 1-2" is expected across most of Michiana, and when combined with increased holiday travel (as well as gameday in South Bend), slowdowns are expected due to low visibility and slick roads. Most of tomorrow's snow wraps up by the early afternoon with temperatures peaking in the low 30s, but a secondary round of lake effect snow is expected to develop in NW Indiana Friday night. If you're attending the playoff game in South Bend, expect freezing conditions but little to no snow. The weekend is quiet and overcast with highs in the upper 20s.
Today: Overcast. High 34.
Tonight: Snow showers. Low 29.
Friday: Snow. High 33.
Saturday: Overcast. High 28.
