SOUTH BEND, Ind.-- The City of South Bend opened the application from Sept. 9 through Oct.14 for the fifth year of the South Bend Alive Grant Program to award grant funding to South Bend organizations that work to reduce incidents of violence in the community through initiatives that positively impact young people.
The Alive Grant Program, managed by the Office of Community Initiatives, funds organizations that provide young people mentorship, employment opportunities, and engagement activities.
This year’s grantees will be awarded up to $25,000 for each organization.
"We encourage all passionate individuals and organizations to participate in this impactful cause. Together, we can build on our progress and create meaningful change for a brighter future." said Chief Community Officer, Maurice Moe Scott.
Applicants must complete the grant application, which can be found by visiting here.
