City mayors make BCS National Championship wager

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- We are just under a month away from the BCS National Championship game between Notre Dame and Alabama but Wednesday, two big names got their bets in.

South Bend's Mayor Pete Buttigieg went all in against Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox.

Tuscaloosa is home to the University of Alabama.

Their bet? If Alabama wins, Maddox will get a nice helping of chocolate from the South Bend Chocolate Factory.

If Notre Dame wins, Mayor Buttigieg will get some Alabama ribs.

It's not just the mayor's placing bets, both South Bend Fire and Tuscaloosa Fire are finalizing their bets as well.
