BENTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- Officials with Chick-fil-A, Inc. announced a new restaurant is coming to the Benton Harbor area at 1917 Pipestone Rd., and will officially open on Feb. 27 at 6:30 a.m.

The restaurant will feature dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, delivery, and Mobile Thru from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

The company announced that local resident Justin Barnes has been selected to serve as the Owner-Operator of Chick-fil-A Benton Harbor.

Before joining Chick-fil-A, the company states Barnes dedicated several years launching a variety of non-profit initiatives.

The new location will also honor 100 local heroes in the community with a free Chick-fil-A for a year, according to the press release.

The location is said to bring 135 new jobs to the community.

It will also feature a playground to serve guests with children.
