MISHAWAKA, Ind. — With just hours to go before the holiday shopping season came to an end, ABC57 caught up with last-minute shoppers at the University Park Mall.
While most customers described the scene as busy or even “chaotic”, mall officials say Wednesday was actually slower than the few days before.
Mall officials say Tuesday was their third busiest day of the year, behind only Black Friday and Super Saturday.
Some of the more popular items on shoppers list included beauty products, shoes and clothes.
Business owners called the past few days their saving grace, with a slow-down in the middle of the month thanks to snowy weather and freezing temps
