CASSOPOLIS, Mich. -- As personal protective equipment continues to be in high demand due to the coronavirus pandemic, CHT-USA is now making hand sanitizer for local first responders.
The company is manufacturing the sanitizer at their Cassopolis factory and is ready to donate to any law enforcement agencies, schools, or health care workers in need throughout Berrien, Cass and St. Joseph counties.
"We've given it to the locals - local police, county sheriff's departments and fire departments," said Jim Cottington, CEO of CHT-USA. "We've given it to the Red Cross and down to the local schools because they're still making meals for kids. So, any kind of organization that has some kind of need and hasn't been able to get the material, we've provided it for them."
While CHT isn't selling the product yet, they plan to do so in mid-May - exclusively in local stores.
Any organization in need of these supplies can call CHT's main line at 269-445-0847.
