ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The Court Appointed Special Advocates for children in St. Joseph County is looking for volunteers. Over 170 children are on the waitlist that need a voice and support to help navigate the child welfare system. CASA helps children deal with situations such as abuse or neglect allegations.
Amanda Bucholtz, Recruiter and Trainer at CASA Program of St. Joseph County spoke with ABC57's Summer Horan about Child Abuse Prevention month. Bucholtz also spoke about more volunteers are needed to help serve all the children within the program.
