Car fire at Mishawaka Avenue and 30th Street Wednesday afternoon

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Police Department reports officers were called to assist the South Bend Fire Department for car fire at the intersection of Mishawaka Avenue and 30th Street around 3:33 p.m., Wednesday.

The video of the scene shows firefighters putting the car out. A small explosion can be seen as crews approached.

No injuries have been reported and the cause of the fire is currently unknown.
