Bremen student receives 2023 Lilly Endowment scholarship

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. - Caleb Cullers, a student in Bremen Public Schools, is a 2023 recipient of the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship, according to the Marshall County Community Foundation.

Lilly scholarships cover full tuition, required fees, and offer a special allocation of up to $900 per year for required books and equipment needed for four years of undergraduate study.

“Caleb’s academic performance was exceptional, and his volunteerism and community involvement were substantial. Caleb received several awards and recognitions throughout his high school career,” said Beth Styers, MCCF Scholarship Committee Chair. “Caleb was a very active contributor to his community during high school.”

Scholarship recipients are chosen based on academic excellence, leadership, community service, under-representation, and more.

More than 5,000 Indiana students have received the scholarship since the program's inception.
