Rain, snow, and wind are on their way later tonight
Happy Veteran's Day! After a pleasant but windy Sunday, we're going to drop back into the mid-50s with the wind dying down a little bit. Expect gusts of up to 30 mph this afternoon, under clearing skies. Some lake effect showers could clip our northern counties this afternoon, but these will be light. Frost expected throughout Michiana tonight, a trend we could see continue into Tuesday night. Tuesday looks cooler than today, with highs right around average for this time of year. Rain chances creep into the forecast for Wednesday, especially in the afternoon and overnight hours. Lake effect showers persist potentially through Friday, though temperatures are expected to rise back into the high 50s through the back half of the week. More shower chances to begin next week with another nose dive in temperatures.
Today: Clearing, cool, breezy. High 56.
Tonight: Cold, frost potential. Low 32.
Tuesday: Chilly, clear. High 50.
Wednesday: Gathering clouds, PM showers. High 53.
