Authorities say while working on the original crash, a 24-foot box truck lost control, striking three Comstock Fire vehicles and a KCSO cruiser, before rolling over and coming to a rest.
No first responders were injured in the crash and no injuries were reported in the original crash.
The driver of the box truck sustained minor injuries.
Eastbound I-94 was still closed at Sprinkle Road as of 10:15 a.m., while wrecker crews cleared the highway.
