Body found along Tippecanoe River in Fulton County; investigation underway

ABC 57 FULTON COUNTY, Ind. -- The Fulton County Sheriff's Office is investigating after the discovery of a dead body.
The body was found at about 6:45 p.m. on August 5. Deputies were following up on a welfare check when they located the body of 35-year-old Brian Gambill of Claypool. He was found near the Germany Bridge public access area along the Tippecanoe River.
The cause and manner of death are under investigation. Investigators say they do not believe there is a threat to the public.
