Bicyclist hit by car in Nappanee, airlifted to hospital

NAPPANEE, Ind. -- A 21-year-old man is recovering after getting hit by a car in Nappanee while riding his bike.

It happened just before 5 a.m. Wednesday on U.S.6 between Shawnee Street and County Road 100. Medics flew the cyclist to the hospital for cuts and head pain.

No word yet on that bicyclist's current condition.
