BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- The Berrien County Health Department (BCHD) is encouraging community members to look into HIV prevention, testing, and education in recognition of Monday being World AIDS Day.

BCHD provides a range of confidential services to support community members with HIV, including rapid HIV tests that return results in roughly 20 minutes and pre-exposure prophylaxis for those without HIV.

Appointments for HIV services are available 1 to 4 p.m. from Monday through Thursday at BCHD’s Benton Harbor office at 2149 E. Napier Avenue as well as from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday at its Niles office at 1205 N. Front Street.
