Berrien County detective arrested for OWI

BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. — A detective with the Berrien County Sheriff's office is likely facing OWI charges.  Police arrested the detective Saturday night in St. Joseph Township, Michigan.

Police say blood tests show he was more than twice over the legal limit.

Police will not release his name until he is arraigned next week.

Officials say the case will likely be moved out of Berrien County because he has worked with the prosecutor several times.
