BENTON HARBOR, Mich. -- Benton Harbor High School celebrated the class of 2020 with a drive-thru graduation Friday.
It was a day full of Tiger pride, with booths along the way where graduates could pick up some gifts before getting their diploma and stopping for a picture with the superintendent.
While some family members rode in the car with students, crowds also joined outside the parking lot to practice social distancing while still celebrating their seniors.
“We are so proud of you, continue to do great work and represent us well. Go Tigers!” said Natalie Logan-Sharps, a class advisor.
Staff at Benton Harbor High School say they came up with the idea after seeing drive-thru graduations happening across the country.
