Storms will be developing and moving through Michiana this afternoon and evening ahead of the cold front which is progressing very slowly into Michiana. A couple of storms could be severe, especially in the central and southern half the area. Strong wind, heavy rain and small hail and lightning are the big threats. Storms could still be dangerous in this regard, even if they are not considered “severe”. Make sure to find shelter when they move through!
The cold front will move out by tomorrow morning, leaving us with a couple early AM showers, and then mostly cloudy skies. We will clear up by the evening, and then the rest of the week will be sunnier and dry. Temps will drop into the 70s Monday, and stay near average all week.
Tonight: Evening storms, then mostly cloudy with scattered, leftover showers. Low of 64.
Monday: Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of AM showers, then clearing skies. High of 76.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny. Slight chance for a PM shower/storm. Highs in the upper 70s.
