BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. -- The Berrien County Sheriff's Office is informing the public that the St. Joseph Records Division at 919 Port Street in St. Joe will be closed for remodeling from Thursday, April 3 to Tuesday, April 8.

Authorities say fingerprinting services will not be available during that time.

The Niles location of the Records Division will remain open for walk-ins regarding Licenses to Purchase Firearms and Sex Offender Verification at their location at the South County Courthouse (1205 N. Front St. in Niles).

The hours of operation for the Niles location are 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The St. Joseph Records Division will reopen to the public and resume scheduling appointments on Wednesday, April 9.
