Light winds out of the east this morning are preventing dense fog from forming across our area. With a weak cold front already past our area, highs will return to near 80 degrees for many communities later this afternoon amidst partly cloudy skies. Tonight, lows retreat to the mid 50s as cloud cover gradually diminishes. Friday's temperatures will circle back to the mid 80s courtesy of warm air being brought in from the gulf region and a slight rain chance presents itself tomorrow afternoon and evening. Saturday and Sunday will be the warmest days of the next several; the mid to upper 80s will be widespread this weekend as Notre Dame comes back home to take on Boise State.
