Arrest made in stabbing early Sunday morning

THREE RIVERS, Mich. -- A woman was arrested for allegedly stabbing a man early Sunday morning, according to Three Rivers Police.

Police were called to the 400 block of 9th Street for an open 911 call. A man told dispatchers he had lost a lot of blood, reports said.

When police arrived, they made contact with a 21-year-old woman, but she was uncooperative, police said.

The victim was located at the emergency room with stab wounds, reports said.

After obtaining a search warrant for the residence, police located a knife used in the incident, reports said.

The 21-year-old woman was taken into custody on preliminary a preliminary charge of felonious assault.

Child protective services was contacted for the three children at the residence.
