Arbor Lakes apartment fire ruled accidental

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- Fire officials have determined the cause of the Arbor Lakes Apartments fire that happened January 8 in Concord Township.

The Concord Fire Chief said based on the findings of the Indiana State Fire Marshal's Office's incident report, the fire has been ruled accidental.

The chief added discarded smoking materials could not be ruled out.

Approximately 60 residents were displaced in the fire.

There were no injuries.
