From just above average today to the 80s later this week
Expect another hot and humid start today with mostly sunny skies this morning. As highs climb into the upper 80s, high dewpoints will make us feel closer towards the mid to upper 90s. Isolated thunderstorms among lighter rain showers will move in during the afternoon and last into the early evening. While no severe weather is expected today, some storms could produce strong wind gusts and brief downpours. Scattered showers linger tonight and clear out, but pave the way for a cold front and more thunderstorms later tomorrow morning. Tomorrow's severe risk is low but present, the main concerns being damaging winds and heavy rain. Expect the wet weather to taper off through tomorrow night with some showers lingering into Friday morning. When it is not raining these next two days, conditions will be hot and humid with heat indices in the mid 90s today and tomorrow.
Today: Isolated thunderstorms. High 88.
Tonight: Scattered showers. Low 70.
Thursday: Isolated thunderstorms. High 88.
Friday: Showers. High 84.
