MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind.-- The mother of a young girl hurt in the Marshall County bus crash, which left one student dead, has filed a law suit against the driver and his employer.
Amber Despot, mother of Krista Despot, filed a complaint against Tylor Perry and National Construction Rentals Inc. and National Rent-A-Fence Co.
The complaint alleges that Perry operated his 2016 Freight-liner straight truck in a reckless manner by failing to obey the traffic stop and to notice the bus was stopped at the railroad among other claims.
As a result of Perry’s recklessness, the complaint outlines the injuries sustained by Amber’s daughter Krista, including physical and mental injuries which may be permanent.
The complaint was filed in the Marshall Superior Court on December 21, though no trial has been set.
