Indiana State Police will be having extra officers patrolling for Labor Day weekend.
The Indiana State Police will be participating in Operation C.A.R.E. which is combined, accident, reduction, effort.
They will also be participating in DUIEP Driving under the influence enforcement project.
To ensure safety on the roads the state police are asking to:
- Don’t drive distracted
- Avoid tailgating
- Use turn signals
- Obey the speed limit
- Make sure everyone is buckled up
- Don’t drive impaired by drugs or alcohol
