The Allen County Prosecutor's Office filed murder charges against Amber Pasztor in the death of 66-year-old Frank Macomber.
His body was found in a wooded area outside of Fort Wayne on September 27, 2016, half a mile from the home where Pasztor abducted her children, Rene Pasztor and Liliana Hernandez, the day before.
After her arrest in Elkhart County on September 26, Paztor allegedly admitted to shooting Macomber in the woods on Sunday, September 25, 2016, with a deer hunting rifle he had purchased for her.
She told investigators where they could find his body in Allen County and said it was covered by a blue and red tent, according to the probable cause affidavit.
Investigators located his body, covered in a tent, half a mile from her parents' home, according to the probable cause affidavit.
Pasztor was charged on June 13 Allen County with murder and firearm used in commission of offense.
A warrant was issued for her arrest.
Pasztor is already in custody in Elkhart County, She pleaded guilty to murdering her children on June 1.
Her sentencing is scheduled for June 29 in Elkhart County.
6:21 a.m. Last time Liliana Hernandez, 7, and Rene Pasztor, 6 were seen. 11:00 a.m. (approximately) Liliana and Rene were reported missing and possibly abducted from their Fort Wayne home at 7036 US33.
12:30 p.m. (approximately) An AMBER Alert is issued for the two children and their non-custodial mother, Amber Pasztor, 29. The alert includes a description of her vehicle, a tan Mercury Mystique. Police also want to speak with 66-year-old Frank Macomber
5:25 p.m. An Elkhart Police officer is flagged down by the driver of a tan Mercury, later identified as Amber Pasztor
Pasztor told officers her kids were deceased in the back seat. The children and the car matched the children in the AMBER Alert issued earlier in the day.
7 p.m. (approximately) The AMBER Alert is canceled because the children were found.
The two children deceased in the back seat were identified as Liliana Hernandez, 7, and Rene Pasztor, 6.
11:30 p.m. (approximately) The Elkhart Police Department announced Amber Pasztor was arrested on two counts of murder.
Overnight - A man's body was found in Fort Wayne, half a mile from the children's home.
The body was identified as Frank Macomber. Prosecutors say they believe Macomber was shot and killed before Liliana and Rene were abducted.
Macomber's death was ruled a homicide.
