Amber Alert cancelled after missing Lansing boy found safe

LANSING, Mich. - An Amber Alert was declared Monday morning for two-year-old Phoenix Javon Washington, who went missing from Lansing.

Michigan State Police shared an update on Facebook around 11 a.m. announcing that Washington had been found safe.

According to the alert, officials believe he was abducted from a home by a 26-year-old suspect, who threatened to harm himself and the victim.  The suspect's name is also Phoenix Javon Washington.
