ELKHART, Ind. - ADEC in Elkhart will help dozens of people with developmental disabilities feel like celebrities Friday evening.
ADEC is hosting it's first ‘ADEC Ball' at the RV Hall Of Fame in Elkhart.
Nearly 100 people that ADEC helps will be treated to a night of dancing, food and fun.
They will be driven to the event in limos and will walk down a red carpet.
They will also be cheered on at the red carpet by members of the community!
We spoke with Jessica Koscher, ADEC's chief development officer, who told us why they are holding this one-time event.
"To spark inclusion for individuals and we really want to make sure there are opportunities for the public to interact with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is just one big splashy way we are going to do that,” Koscher said.
The event starts at 5 p.m. and you can attend as well.
Tickets are still available. You can buy them by clicking HERE.
