Atmosphere-wise, Michiana sits in no man's land most of today while reaping the benefits of outgoing high pressure. Temperatures rise to the low 70s with relatively low dewpoints this afternoon and evening, making for a generally pleasant day ahead. This evening, a low level jet feature in the atmosphere begins to consistently lift warm and moist air into Michiana, priming us for scattered showers and storms late tonight. A few of these storms could be strong to severe, but the risk remains low overall overnight into tomorrow morning. The second half of Tuesday through late Wednesday will likely be a washout for most of Michiana. While continuous rain isn't expected for 24-36 hours straight, you should plan on dreary and wet weather more often than not. The rain continues in bursts on Thursday as a warm front pulls through.
Today: Partly cloudy. High 72.
Tonight: Overcast. Low 60.
Tuesday: Scattered thunderstorms. High 76.
Wednesday: PM rain. High 38.
