SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- A Disney downtown in the city of South Bend, with this month's First Friday celebrating all things Disney.
Volunteers with DTSB set up a Disney Character Crawl, with local businesses hosting some well-known characters for photo opportunities with kids.
Moana was at the Cambodian Thai restaurant, and Frozen's Anna and Kristoff were at the South Bend Chocolate Cafe.
The event designed to get more families out and about for some free fun downtown.
"With DTSB, a lot of their work relies on like volunteer service. I started off here as a volunteer. I moved into an interim position, and yeah, so it's incredible have more people volunteer here and help around downtown, because it's been a great experience getting to interact with local downtownies," stated Special Projects Assistant Cooper Finch.
Next up, DTSB will have 'Game On' as the theme for April's First Friday, set for April 4 from 5 p.m. - 9 p.m.
