The New Year will be colder than the end of December. Highs in the 20s as we end the week, but significant snow is unlikely until early next week. The focus remains on Sunday - Tuesday for a possible snow storm. The latest model trends are not favorable for a BIG snow in Michiana. Major shifts in the track are typical, five to seven days out in the forecast. A more southerly track may lessen the system snow, but a northwesterly wind could turn the lake effect snow our way by next Tuesday. Temperatures still expected to be cold next week, with highs in the teens.
Tonight: Flurries. Low 28.
Wednesday: Flurries. High 32.
Thursday: Partly cloudy. High 28.
Friday: Cloudy. High 25.
