Severe weather unlikely today, but not impossible
With the storms gone, the cold front has ushered in much chillier air into Michiana for the start of the weekend. Generally cloudy skies and highs peaking near 40 degrees today will be common, but temperatures will likely feel closer to just below freezing because of wind chills this afternoon. Lows bottom out in the middle of the 20s tonight and turn into highs in the mid 40s on Saturday. A surge of warm air, courtesy of upper level winds, inflates our temperatures to the 60s on Sunday and the 70s on Monday. Plan on a rainy stretch of weather for most of next week.
Today: Mostly cloudy. High 40.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 26.
Saturday: Mostly sunny. High 46.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy. High 61.
