A big change this weekend

NOW: A big change this weekend

One more fair day this week, Thursday is sunny and mild, then the weather changes to end the week. A few showers will start the day Friday, and it will still be mild with highs near 60 degrees. Then weather cools, starting Saturday. Temperatures fall from the low 50s to the 40s Saturday evening and rain is likely after 9:00 PM. Rain is likely through Sunday morning and will try to mix with snow as temperatures fall into the upper 30s. The ground temperature being warm and unfrozen with be a big inhibitor to any snow accumulation. The best chance of seeing snowfall, and possibly sticking, is Sunday night through Monday morning, when temperatures drop into the 20s. Lake Effect will be the mechanism to produce snow; this means who sees snow is driven by the wind, which 5 days out, it hard to predict with good certainty.  The chance of a coating has increased but heavy snow is very suspect this weekend.

Tonight: Mostly clear. Low 34.

Thursday: Mostly sunny. High 57.

Friday: AM rain. High 60.

Saturday: PM Rain. High 52
