Data center protest planned before Microsoft Town Hall meeting in South Bend

Stop Data St. Joseph County ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- In May of 2025, a massive data center project was approved for the St. Joe Farm site, near Capital Ave. and Cleveland Rd.
Microsoft will be holding a Town Hall meeting on Tuesday, May 19 from 4-7 p.m. at the Century Center in downtown South Bend to address community concerns.
A group opposed to the data center, Stop Data St. Joseph County, is organizing a protest to "bring together those opposed to Microsoft's data center, to demonstrate in front of the Century Center at 3pm prior to the town hall meeting."
