SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- ABC57 Saturday Kickoff host Allison Hayes is sharing messages of hope from community members across Michiana who are still finding ways to spread positivity despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
Notre Dame football Head Coach Brian Kelly praised the medical community as well as all of the essential workers who are keeping the community safe.
"We will get through it. If we stay at home, if we stay vigilant, if we stay patient, we're going to see ourselves on the other side of this and we're going to be stronger for it. We have not won yet," Kelly said. "We’re just getting to half time. We've got a second half to play here. So, really good job in the first couple of quarters but we're just getting into the locker room and let's look for a better second half. If we have a better second half, we're going to win this game."
